This Chicken Kurma is a beautifully balanced and delicious, where chicken is cooked with various spices and ground almonds-cashew paste with blue poppy seeds. This poppy seeds make heavenly tasty!
This creamy Quick Chicken Kurma recipe has tender chicken in a mildly spiced curry sauce with full flavour!

1 kg chicken – cut 24 pieces
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt

1 tbsp roasted canna dal ( Kadala Parupu )
1 inch ginger
5 clove garlic
2 shallot
5 green chillies
8 cashew nuts
10 almonds – skinless
1 tbsp blue poppy seeds ( kasa kasa )

1 bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon sticks
3 cardamom pods
2 star anise
3 clove
1 big onion
1 green Chili
Few Curry leaf
2 tomatoes
2 potatoes
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 cup grated coconut + 1/2 cup water ( blend ) extract
3 cup water
Vegetable oil
Coriander leaves

1 kg ayam – potong 24 keping
1 sudu kecil serbuk kunyit
1 sudu kecil garam

1 sudu besar dal kuda panggang (Kadala Parupu)
1 inci Halia
5 ulas bawang putih
2 biji bawang merah kecil
5 biji cili hijau
8 biji gajus
10 biji badam – tanpa kulit
1 sudu besar biji poppy biru ( kas kas )

1 daun salam
1 inci kayu manis
3 biji buah pelaga
2 bunga lawang
3 bunga cengkih
1 biji bawang besar
1 cili hijau
Sedikit daun kari
2 biji tomato
2 ubi kentang dipotong dadu
1 sudu besar serbuk ketumbar
1/2 cawan kelapa parut + 1/2 cawan air (kisar) santan
3 cawan air
Minyak sayuran
Daun ketumbar
