Kondakadalai Sundal / Chick Peas Sundal is a very popular offering made to god for South Indian festivals.
It’s commonly made for Navrathri, Ganesh Chathurthi, Varalakshmi Vratham.But it does not have to be just during festivals for you. A nutritious, low-fat recipe such as this needs excuses to prepare. It barely has any stir-fried ingredients and uses very little oil during preparation. Give a try!


1 cup chickpea – soak 6 to 7 hrs
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp urad dhal
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp chilli flakes

1 cawan kacang kuda – rendam 6 – 7 jam
1 sudu besar Minyak Sapi
1 sudu kecil urad dhal ( ulundhu )
1 sudu kecil biji sawi
2 sudu kecil cili api
