Moong Dhal Cabbage Kootu

Moong Dhall Cabbage Kootu ( Pasiparupu Cabbage Kootu. This Kootu can be used as a side dish for tosai and idli as well, however this sambar is perfect for rice as a main side dish. This cabbage kootu is so yummy and tasty.

1 cup Moong Dhall
1 cup cabbage – slice fine
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp urad dhal & 1 tsp mustard seed
5 shallots – sliced
2 bird’s eye chili
4 clove garlic & 1/2 inch ginger ( sliced )
1 large tomato – cubed
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
3 tbsp grated coconut
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp ghee

1 cawan dal moong ( Pasiparupu )
1 cawan kubis – hiris halus
3 sudu besar minyak sayur
1 sudu kecil urad dhal & 1 sudu kecil biji sawi
5 biji bawang merah kecil dihiris
2 cili padi
4 ulas bawang putih & 1/2 inci halia (dihiris)
1 biji tomato besar – didadu
1/2 sdt serbuk kunyit
3 sudu besar kelapa parut
1/4 cawan air
1 sudu besar Minyak Sapi
